Between January and May 2025, Morocco welcomed approximately 7.2 million tourists at its border crossings, marking a 22% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

According to data reported by accommodation professionals, the number of overnight stays in classified establishments also rose by 14% during the same period.

In terms of foreign currency earnings, travel revenues from non-resident tourists reached MAD 45.1 billion between January and May 2025, up from MAD 41.6 billion a year earlier — an 8.5% growth.
